1- Can the packages be customized or altered?
Absolutely! Our packages can be customized to your personal taste, provided all minimum requirements are met. We will be happy to take in consideration your cuisine preference when designing your special package.
2- Is there a menu tasting available?
Yes, depending upon your package choice and once you have a contract with us, a complimentary tasting for two guests can be arranged (additional guests may join for a $25.00 fee per person) at least three months prior to your event date and is available on wedding packages only.
3-Are there overtime charges?
Yes, if your party continues beyond the schedule time stipulated on contract; charges for use of the ballroom, bar service or both may apply. Fees are based on the final guaranteed number or actual attendance, whichever is greater.
4-Do children have different prices and menus?
Yes, in most cases. For Quinces, Sweet Sixteen and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, a separate young adult (11 yrs old to 20 yrs old) menu is offered. For children (10 yrs old and under) we recommend a children menu (chicken fingers and French fries or similar.
5-Can I do my ceremony rehearsal at Diamante’s?
Yes, if your ceremony is to take place here, we are pleased to provide you with a ballroom (based on availability). Ballroom may be tentatively reserved one month prior for one hour only (times to be arranged with catering manager). We strongly suggest your notary, minister or pastor direct your rehearsal, but in cases where this is not possible, we will happy to assist you at a minimal charge of $100.00 for the rehearsal directing and $100.00 for the ceremony.
6-Who will be here on the day of my party?
From the moment you arrive, the catering manager will assist you along with a maitre d previously assigned for your party.
7-What about table favors, place cards, and other personal items?
We will happy to place a reasonable amount of these items for you during the set up time. We ask you to bring these the day prior to your event. However due to storage restrictions, we can’t store silk or fresh floral arrangements. These must be delivered two hours prior the beginning of your function.
8-What services are not provided by Diamante’s?
While our facility does offer you an elegant set of ballrooms with beautiful chandeliers, other décor such as floral centerpieces are not included; also you will need to provide outside services for music (dj, band, etc), photography, videography, place cards, invitations, and ceremony celebrants. You can refer to our list of Preferred Vendors in this website, to cover all your needs. All Vendors and Outside Contractors must provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance.
9-When can we have access to set up?
In most cases we provide a 2-hour set up time prior to your event for all your vendors.
10-Is there a dressing room available?
Yes, we do offer a complimentary use of our beautiful suite, (time to be pre arranged). However you will need to advise your catering manager if you are going to need to use this area.
11-What about Kosher or guests with special dietary needs?
Diamante’s will be happy to order Glatt Kosher for your guests at an additional charge. For guests with special needs, please advise your catering manager in advance, so we can make proper arrangements.
